On the 16-18th of March, contemporary dance group 420PEOPLE from Czech Republic was in Merida

The workshop was organized by Consorcio Patronato del Festival de Mérida, with support from local organizations: TAPTC Teatro and other members of the local community.

Team of 420PEOPLE got to visit the famous temple of Diana, as well as many other historical sites (Pórtico Forum, Alcazaba, roman bridge, etc) in order to foster their inspiration about Merida. They got session with students and professionals of local dance and theatre schools (La Kabilia Studios, Academy Isadora, Creation and Training Studio “Aire Flamenco”, Dancing School “Ascensión Ramos”, TAPTC Drama School, High Drama School of Extremadura, High Drama School from Seville, High Drama School of Málaga), providing new learning experience on dancing techniques and approaches and above all, to promoting the interaction between 420PEOPLE, students and local professionals, in order to learn and understand each other’s needs and concerns.
