Viminacium DH Festival opening – Boom93 radio
Boom93 radio station covered the inauguration of the “Dancing Histories: Removing Borders” festival, on June 24, 2024, in Viminacium. Featuring over 200 local participants, the festival showcased performances blending local culture and contemporary dance. Highlights included a live action painting by Dušan Tomašević and a collaboration between the Czech group “420PEOPLE” and the local “Bolero” dance club. The festival aimed to transcend historical and cultural barriers, reflecting on the ephemeral nature of human existence.
The event was supported by the Mayor’s office and the Council of the city of Požarevac, City council of Kostolac, Privredno društvo Kostolac usluge d.o.o, Kostolac, DESK Kreativna Evropa Srbija and Studentski kulturni centar Novi Sad.
