Dancing Through Rain and History | ilDance Workshop 3 & Residency

ilDance’s journey at Viminacium reached new heights (and a new venue!) during Workshop 3 and Residency as part of the Dancing Histor(y)ies project!

Despite the rain moving the performance from the amphitheater to the City Baths, the team embraced the challenge, adapting choreography and lighting to the stunning Thermae setting. This final stage of the creative process brought everything together: site-specific movements, technical adjustments, and a deep dive into cultural storytelling. The residency wasn’t just about dance—it was about connection. Local communities, stakeholders, and artists came together, sharing their voices to celebrate heritage and explore how dance transcends borders.
