Barefoot Traditions Take Center Stage: Dancing Histor(y)ies Workshop 3 & Residency

The final chapter of ilDance’s journey in Tharros, Italy, unfolded during Workshop 3 and the residency of the Dancing Histor(y)ies project!

Reconnecting with the local community, ilDance drew inspiration from cherished customs—particularly the traditional barefoot race—to infuse their performance with Sardinia’s vibrant spirit. This creative residency brought together ideas, stories, and movement, culminating in a unique artistic collaboration.

Highlights included ilDance’s participation in the Peer-to-Peer event and the thought-provoking workshop “The Story in Reverse.” It’s all leading up to a performance that celebrates tradition, history, and the art of connection.
