Join us on an inspiring journey with the renowned 420PEOPLE contemporary dance group as they bring movement, art, and history together in the third workshop of the Dancing Histor(y)ies project.
Set in the stunning historical backdrop of Viminacium, this workshop focused on creating the mesmerizing choreography, IMPERMANENCE, in collaboration with local talents from Serbia’s Plesni klub Bolero.
What Happened?
Adults & Kids Workshops: Guided by video consultations with choreographer Sylva Šafková, local dancers explored and refined the choreography with enthusiasm and precision.
Art Meets Dance: Painter Dušan Tomašević introduced action painting, merging visual art with contemporary dance to craft a unique, live performance.
Cultural Exchange: The residency fostered deep connections between dancers from different backgrounds and ages, proving that art transcends borders.
The Grand Finale Despite unexpected challenges—including weather and technical setbacks—the show went on! The performance blended dance, music, and visual art, with dancers gracefully adapting to a new setting.
