Association Successful Women of Kostolac

“Successful Women of Kostolac” (or simply “Women”) is an association that was founded as an informal group in April 2018 and officially registered in March 2019.

We organized with the aim to:

Fight for the rights of women and children;

Contribute to creating conditions for zero tolerance towards violence;

Promote women’s activism;

Provide support to children with developmental difficulties and highlight the need to enable equal opportunities and raise awareness about the responsibilities that families and society have towards them.

The association is an activist organization that encourages all actors to take social responsibility and highlights the difficult position of women in Serbia. The group is composed exclusively of women who see feminism as an opportunity for empowerment and a fight against all prejudices and discrimination based on gender and sex.

The association has many years of experience in the NGO sector, specifically in various areas of human and minority rights. Our small group is growing stronger every day, with volunteers and activists joining us who want Kostolac to become a modern municipality where human rights are respected, and all women who want their voices to be heard are welcome.

Independently or in collaboration with other organizations, we have organized numerous panel discussions, street performances, discussion groups, radio shows, round tables, festivals, and more.For more info, please visit:
