RAI News reported on Dancing Histories Festival in Tharros (Italy) J
The festival was held on 12-14th of June 2024, and included performances by six international dance companies: the Swedish ilDance, Polish Dance Theatre, Bulgarian Derida Dance Center, Italian Mvula Sungani Physical Dance, and a co-production involving the E-Motion Group, ASMED Balletto di Sardegna, and Danza Estemporada. The festival included numerous other activities, aimed at actively promoting historical heritage, such as the “Dance on Your Wave” workshop/game designed for children and inspired by wave movements, and “The Story in Reverse” workshop where dancers, choreographers, and musicians engaged with local communities. The “Gazes on Tharros” talk featured artists discussing their experiences at the Tharros site.
