We would like to inform you that the first press conference for local media of the Dancing Histor(y)ies project, co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union, was held at the Archaeological Park Viminacium on March 29, 2024. At today’s conference, the first international contemporary dance festival of the Dancing Histor(y)ies project was presented under the slogan “ReMOVING Borders,” which will take place at the Archaeological Park Viminacium from June 24th to 26th, 2024.

The conference was moderated by Mr. Stefan Stančić, Communications Manager of the project and researcher at the Archaeological Institute, and spokespersons included:

• Dr. Ljubomir Jevtović, Assistant Project Manager and Research Associate at the Archaeological Institute;
• Dr. Jelena Anđelković Grašar, Project Manager and Senior Research Associate at the Archaeological Institute;
• Mr. Vuk Radulović, Head of the Creative Europe Desk at the Ministry of Culture;
• Jivko Jelisakov, Choreographer of the Derida Dance group from Bulgaria;
• Predrag Paunović, festival coordinator

The conference was attended by several local media outlets, to whom we extend our gratitude for their participation and for following the activities of the Archaeological Institute as a partner in this project.
