DANCE CLUB BOLERO, POŽAREVAC

Dance Club Bolero was founded on March 2nd, 1991. Since its inception, it has been consistently involved in dance education for children and adults.

The fact that more than 7,000 students from the Požarevac area have passed through Bolero’s dance schools indicates that this club is serious about bringing young people together, fostering their social interactions with the primary goal of learning and engaging in dance as a unique blend of art and sport.

Bolero has been an active member of the Dance Association of Serbia since 1996, and since then, the young dancers of this club have recorded numerous successes and accolades in sports dance. Some of these achievements include:

– Over 15 championship and runner-up titles in national sports dance competitions

– Successfully representing our country at three official World Championships in Latin American and standard dances (Riga – Latvia, Koblenz – Germany, and Moscow – Russia)

– More than 200 awards for achieving results from 1st to 3rd place at qualifying and ranking tournaments in the country

In contemporary – modern dances, Bolero dancers have also achieved outstanding results, with the Latin show team being the national champion in the “Latin show” discipline for nearly 10 consecutive years and twice the champion of Southeast Europe in the same discipline.

Today, Bolero gathers over 100 members – competitors and recreational dancers in various dance disciplines. It continues to achieve success in sports competitions and dance festivals.
