🌍✨ On 6 June 2025, the Dancing Histor(y)ies project was presented at BEYOND 2025: Being Many, an international gathering organized by Culture Action Europe in Turin, Italy. The event brought together cultural professionals, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe to reflect on new forms of cultural leadership, participatory governance, and collaborative practices in the cultural sector.

During the programme, the project was introduced as an example of how performing arts can activate cultural heritage sites and connect them with local communities. The presentation highlighted the project’s approach to co-creating performances in archaeological locations, engaging underrepresented groups, and using contemporary dance as a tool for dialogue, storytelling, and social inclusion.

Participants also learned about the broader results of the project, including workshops with local communities, artistic residencies, and performances developed across several heritage sites in Europe, demonstrating how collaborative artistic processes can contribute to more inclusive cultural ecosystems.

By joining conversations at BEYOND 2025, Dancing Histor(y)ies contributed to the wider European discussion on cultural democracy, participation, and the future role of culture in society.
