On 17 December 2024, the Dancing Histor(y)ies Mini Festival took place at the Polish Dance Theatre in Poznań, presenting a special “Work in Progress” performance created through a unique co-creation process.

Developed during a series of workshops and residencies, the performance brought together professional dancers, freelance artists, seniors, and young participants, exploring how movement can tell stories rooted in personal memory and shared history.

At the heart of the presentation was the idea of “the body as a carrier of history.” Through improvisation and collaborative creation, participants transformed memories, emotions, and experiences into a collective artistic expression, bridging generations and perspectives.

The performance was presented in both the Main and Small Studio, creating an intimate environment that encouraged exchange, reflection, and dialogue among participants and audience members.
