Dancing Histor(y)ies, represented by Mapa Das Ideas was presented at the national conference Laboratórios do Impossível, a full-day gathering of cultural professionals from across Portugal connected to the Rede Portuguesa de Museus.

Bringing together museums committed to social relevance, institutional transformation, and new forms of community engagement, the event explored how cultural institutions can activate the past as a living resource for imagining future practices — addressing themes such as sustainability, artificial intelligence, and evolving exhibition models.

A central session focused on co-creation and design thinking through the European projects Dancing Histor(y)ies and Co-Vision. The DH methodological model was presented as a framework for collaborative artistic processes that connect heritage, performance, and local communities. Participants actively engaged with the approach, reflecting on how co-creation can reshape museum practices through shared authorship, experimentation, and long-term partnerships.

The session concluded with an open invitation for attendees to join the growing DH Network and formalize their interest through a Letter of Intent — strengthening international collaboration toward participatory cultural futures.
