On 15–16 January 2026, the Dancing Histor(y)ies project was presented in the Czech Republic at the conference “The Future of Art Education,” held at Hotel Jezerka in Seč – Ústupky and organized by the Umělecká rada ZUŠ Czech Republic.
As part of the panel “Art and culture: How can we preserve what we are doing now for future needs?”, Václav Kuneš, artistic director of 420PEOPLE, introduced the Dancing Histor(y)ies project model to Czech professionals — including art school teachers, cultural institution directors, and public space administrators.
The presentation highlighted the project as an inspiring model for connecting heritage, dance, and community engagement, showing how collaboration can bring together local enthusiasts, children, students, dancers, musicians, and wider audiences to build new cultural communities.
The session concluded with the presentation of 420PEOPLE’s long-term plans for cooperation with dance schools and venues outside Prague, including initiatives in Lipnice and the SDI festival.
